Belkis Alonso received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Barry University in 1989. In 1997, she received her Masters in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University, graduating magna cum laude. Belkis is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators.

Belkis joined Atkinson, P.A. in August 2004 as office manager/comptroller of the firm.
