Andres J. Caldera is an associate at Atkinson, P.A., where he represents clients in all types of insurance defense litigation, including bodily injury, property damage, and premises liability.

Mr. Caldera graduated from the University of Navarre School of Law in Spain with a Bachelor of Law in 2017. While pursuing his Bachelor of Law, Mr. Caldera represented his Law school in two international arbitration moot court competitions across Europe. Upon graduation, Mr. Caldera practiced law in Nicaragua for two years as an associate in the Banking and Finance department of an internationally recognized law firm, where he gained experience in the Civil Law system. Mr. Caldera later graduated Cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. and LL.M. in International Law. While pursuing his J.D. and LL.M., Mr. Caldera was member of the team that was awarded second place at a global level in a foreign direct investment arbitration moot court competition. Mr. Caldera also served as Research Assistant for his Legal Research and Communications professor and as Dean’s Fellow for the Introduction to U.S. Law course, where he mentored LL.M. students in the intricacies of the U.S. legal system.
